Please download the response letter from Senator John Cornyn. He reponded to the letter our scouts sent him earlier this year. This was part of the Citizenship in the Nation merit badge class Mr. Moyer has been teaching.
The patrols are using these images as totems for their patrols and flags. The artistic side of the scouts came out and three new flags will be flying soon. The base color for the Coyotes is white, Cream color for the Bears, and gray for the Cobras.

An American flag should never be burned. When the flag is to be retired, its blue field is cut from the stripes and then the cloth which was the flag is ceremoniously burned. This should be done with dignity and respect.
